Hay una escena en Peanuts en la que Charlie Brown y Lucy juegan al futbol americano. Ella le sostiene el balon, pero cada vez que Charlie intenta patearlo, ella lo quita, el da un salto mortal y aterriza con la cabeza.

Ella le promete no volverlo a hacer, el le cree pero esta vuelve a hacerlo otra y otra y otra vez.

¿Cuantas veces lo has escuchado? La canción trata sobre todo eso, desde el mas pequeño ejemplo, como el siempre llegar tarde a las citas, prometiendo que no volverá a suceder, hasta el abuso domestico, la cual, para mí, es el meollo de la canción.
